VPNs we cover

The ranking

weighted toward what we verify · 4 providers

Each bar is the interval a score provably sits in: the left edge is what a provider has earned outright, the right edge is the most it could reach if everything we have not measured went perfectly. The mark is the published figure, see the methodology.

How a score is built

1

Gather primary evidence

We read each provider's own privacy policy, terms, audits and pricing, and record the exact passage.

2

Cite every claim

Each fact links to its source with the quoted text and the date we captured it, so you can check it yourself.

3

Compute the score

An open formula turns the evidence into one number, capped by how well each input is verified.

A source-linked index of the VPN audits currently recorded by VPNTestor Platform. It separates a public report from a provider summary, records scope and tested version, and states what the evidence cannot establish.

SingLink VPN: what an external security audit can, and cannot, verify

We ran the parts of a professional VPN security audit that can be done from the outside on SingLink VPN: transport-layer configuration, the App Store record, and the protocol, transparency, logging and jurisdiction posture read from its own documents. The transport layer is modern. The security-critical core, the protocol and the independent-audit trail, is either unverifiable by design or absent. Here is exactly what checks out, what does not, and what no outsider can confirm.

Reading a score

Measured
We produced this number ourselves and can reproduce it.
Documented
Read out of a primary document: a privacy policy, an audit report, or source code.
Vendor-claimed
Asserted by the provider. We have not independently verified it, and the score is capped accordingly.
No evidence
We found nothing to score. The dimension is excluded from the weighted mean rather than counted as zero.

Weighting: Default (evidence-weighted). Weights are allocated toward what this site independently verifies. Speed and streaming are vendor-claimed rather than measured here, so they carry roughly half the weight the industry standard assigns them; that weight moves to privacy, transparency and server authenticity, all of which are checked against primary documents or our own probe network.
